Association Publishers are invited to share their new Digital Publication projects & goals for 2009.
Are you launching a digital version of your flagship publication, catalogs, promotional brochures, etc.? Will you build separate websites for your digital publications? Will you increase creative advertising options for new or current digital publications? If so, what ideas will you initiate? Do you have questions that you would like to ask fellow Association Publishers that have already launched digital publications? Do you have advice for Association Publishers based on your prior experiences with Digital Publications? We look forward to having an online discussion. Happy New Year!

If you are publishing digitally, reformat your publication so it is easier to read online (get rid of page turning). Don't just post the printed version.
Also, don't eliminate the printed version. Doing so may meet your need (to save money) but does not meet the readers' need. A printed publication can be read anywhere, anytime, and is much easier to read than a digital version.

The January/February 2009 issue of Texterity Times includes an informative article:
"Usher in the New Year -- and New Members: Associations Seize the Season and Digital Solutions".
It includes an update on a project launched by the IIA.
You can link to the article from www.texterity.com. From there you can also link to events regarding the upcoming Folio Media Growth Summit in Chicago, March 16-18, and several other upcoming events regarding digital publications nationwide & international.
